Tatted

Privacy Policy

Last Updated: August 15, 2026

Sera Studios, LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Sera Studios," "we," "us," "our"), operates Tatted, an AI tattoo design application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your choices. It should be read together with our Terms of Service. By using the App you agree to this Policy.

We have written this Policy to describe what the App actually does. We have tried to avoid claiming practices we do not follow.

1. No Account, No Sign-Up

The App does not ask you to create an account, and does not collect a name, email address, password, or phone number. It does not offer or require sign-in with Apple, Google, Facebook, or any other provider.

When you first open the App, we create an anonymous identifier on our backend so your designs and preferences can be saved to your device's session. This identifier is not linked to your real-world identity by us.

2. What We Collect

a. Onboarding preferences. Optional answers you give during onboarding โ€” such as tattoo styles and placements you like, size preferences, an age range, how close you are to getting a tattoo, and similar. No question is required. These are stored to personalize the App.

b. Prompts and text you enter. The words you type to describe a design.

c. Photos you choose to upload. If you use a feature that turns a photo into a design, or that previews a tattoo on your body, we process the photo you select. See Section 4 for exactly how photos are handled and deleted.

d. Designs you generate. The AI-generated images created in your session, and information about them (the description used to make them, and whether you chose to share a design to the public gallery).

e. Subscription status. If you subscribe, our payments partner tells us whether your subscription is active and when it renews or lapses. We never receive or store your payment card details.

f. Technical data inherent to using an app. When the App talks to our servers and to the service providers in Section 5, those requests carry standard technical information such as your IP address and device or app version. We use this to operate and secure the service.

What we do NOT collect. We do not use advertising identifiers (such as Apple's IDFA), we do not run third-party advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites. We do not use a third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK beyond the subscription and paywall tools described in Section 5.

3. Notifications

The App may schedule reminder notifications locally on your device (for example, that a free trial is ending). These are generated on your device. We do not operate a push-notification server and do not collect a push token. You can turn notifications off in your device settings.

4. How Your Photos Are Handled

This matters most, so we are specific.

5. Who We Share Data With

We use a small number of service providers ("sub-processors") to run the App. We share only what each needs to do its job.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, to investigate violations of our Terms (including suspected child sexual abuse material, which we may be legally required to report), or in connection with a merger or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. How We Use Information

To operate and improve the App: to generate and render designs and previews, to save your work and preferences, to screen content against our Terms, to manage subscriptions, to secure the service and prevent abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.

7. Content Screening

Prompts and uploaded photos are screened by automated AI classifiers before a design is produced, to block content prohibited by our Terms. Where the App has a public gallery, users can report or block content, and content is removed automatically once enough distinct users report it. We do not guarantee human review of every item.

8. Data Retention

9. Your Choices and Rights

10. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact tattedaiapp@gmail.com and we will delete it.

Adults may upload photographs of their own children to design a portrait tattoo. That photo is the adult user's content, is handled and deleted as described in Section 4, and does not create an account for the child.

11. International Transfers

We process and store information in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, and private storage for your images. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. If changes are material we will notify you in the App or by other reasonable means. The "Last Updated" date reflects the latest revision.
